LifeCall life alert system

The life alert system by LifeCall is designed to let you live independently knowing that help is available at the touch of a button. Plug in the central unit, and wear a button around your wrist as a medical alert wristband or around your neck that you can press in the event of an emergency. If you need help, you'll be on speakerphone with a professional LifeCall emergency response operator who will ensure help is dispatched right away.

Notify your family and friends

If something happens, your life alert system won't just send medical help. We'll also call anyone else you ask us to. You can arrange a list of people that you want phoned in advance of any medical emergency, so that your family, friends and neighbours know what is going on and can help you.

Life alert systems protect seniors

Since we started LifeCall, we've been happy to help many seniors who have said that their LifeCall alert system has saved their lives. Lifecall has been the life alert system of choice in Canada since 1989. As a division of ADT Canada, LifeCall draws on the company's vast security and monitoring expertise to bring you a product that not only does what it is supposed to do quickly and efficiently, but has added features and benefits like medication reminders that we're developing all the time.

Life alert bracelets

The life alert bracelets and pendants used in the LifeCall life alert system are comfortable and waterproof, which means it can be worn anywhere without getting damaged. The battery life of the wearable button unit is about five years.

How far away will it work

Your LifeCall button will work 150-200 feet away from the central LifeCall unit. This figure takes construction materials in a typical home into account. The "open air" range without any obstacles is 500 feet. This is more than enough for the average home. If you require more range, contact our helpful customer service representatives and they'll be happy to help you.

When you set up your central LifeCall unit, it should be in a frequently used area of the home and away from high heat and humidity.

Even works in power outages

In the event of a power loss, your central LifeCall unit that is plugged into the wall will still work up to 24 hours after the loss of power occurs with a backup battery system.
